MU Listserve Mass Mailing System

Address your email to the list_name@lists.missouri.edu to broadcast out. For example if the list is called HES_GradStudents you would just address email to HES_GradStudents@lists.missouri.edu. Note: you can only send to a list in the ListServe system if you have been preapproved to access the list by your IT people or DoIT.

Note: You must first have permission to add/remove members of a list from your IT staff or DoIT. Access the listserve system.

  • Login using your MU pawprint.
  • Select List Management from the menu in the top left corner.
  • Select Subscriber Management from the menu choices.
  • Select the listserve you want to edit from the list presented.
  • In the Add New Subscriber area you can type the email address of a person you want to add following by their First and last name. Be sure to have at least one space between the email address and their name.
  • Click the Do Not Notify the User option if you don’t want them to receive a confirmation email once they are added.
  • Click Add to list_name and they will become part of the listserve.
  • To delete someone type an email address or name into the Examine or Delete Subscription area to locate a member of the listserve. Once they are located you will then have an option to delete them.

  • Access the listserve system.
  • Login using your MU pawprint.
  • Select List Management from the menu in the top left corner.
  • Select Subscriber Management from the menu choices.
  • Select the listserve you want to edit from the list presented.
  • At the bottom of the web page there is a line labeled Review List Members.
  • In this area if you click on In Browser you will see a list of all members in a web page. If you click on By Email you will receive an email with a list of all current members.
