We plan for three sessions each year in summer, fall and winter:
2008 Summer Submissions for our summer program are due March 31st 2008
2008 Fall Submissions for our fall program are due June 30th 2008
2008 Winter Submissions for our winter program are due September 30th 2008
For students graduating in the near term, who have an interest in the focus of the practice, Anshen + Allen representatives are interested in meeting with you, one-on-one, to discuss their interests, answer questions about their practice and review portfolios of academic and work experience. This is best done in short individual interview sessions, approximately fifteen minutes each, for which the students should sign-up for in advance with Ryan Duncan in 137 Stanley Hall. Depending upon the level of interest, this might take place on the 20th or thereabouts. For those candidates who express a strong interest or whom will be a good fit, they will have packages of information and employment applications. Colliers Turley Martin Tucker is hiring a Designer/Project Manager. Click here for a full description of the position. Arrangements can be made with Colliers for an interview either in Columbia or St. Louis. The Architectural Studies Department has also invited them to thesis presentations on May 13th from 1:00-4:30pm in Stotler Lounge. And, they will also come to Dr. Tofle’s Design Business Practices class in the fall when we have others who come to campus to talk to students.

The University of Missouri-Adventure Club Program is currently hiring Site Assistants for the Fall 2008 Semester. Adventure Club is a before and after school program located in 18 elementary schools in Columbia. We provide hands-on educational and recreational activities for children in a safe and caring environment.
Available shifts are 6:45-8:30 a.m. for the morning shift and 3:15-6:00 p.m. for the afternoon shift, Monday-Friday. Staff can work anywhere from 3-10 shifts per week. Shifts remain the same each week for the duration of the semester. Starting pay is $6.65. Staff is expected to work on Early Release Days at 1:00 p.m. unless a class interferes. Staff is also expected to work the Columbia Public School calendar and not just the MU calendar.
If you enjoy working with children, are dependable, responsible, and energetic, Adventure Club may be a great fit. It is a great learning experience for future teachers and for those planning on working with children and families after graduation.

University of Arizona’s Family Economics and Financial Education Project
The University Of Arizona’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is looking for a Programming Manager for the Family Economics and Financial Education (FEFE) Project. In a dynamic and constantly changing work environment, this individual will be focused primarily upon all components of the national FEFE projects operations. The FEFE project is located within the Take Charge America Institute for Consumer Education and Research. A large component includes the coordination, execution and evaluation of high quality educator trainings for classroom educator's grades 7-12 from throughout the United States. In addition, the individual will track national financial education legislation and mandates along with the analyzing FEFE programming and curriculum.
